Our client is looking for two new Pathologists to bring on board! This is a fast-growing, beautiful place to live with plenty of sunshine and a warm climate. This congenial group operates as an independent contracting corporation with existing contracts at two hospitals and approximately 24 OR's. These will expand over time. Our client prefers US-trained candidates. They will also evaluate qualified and recommended recent program graduates.
Our client's practice is overwhelmingly anatomic pathology, although CP training is required. Workload is now 14,000 plus. Distribution remains the same with heavy emphasis on GI, General Surgical, GYN, routine Oncology, Hematopathology and greater than average Neurosurgical Path. This practice no longer performs FNAs; however, some expertise at interpretation is required. An interested candidate may gain future opportunities to schedule these and build a service. This group currently does no Flow Cytometry, but their hematopathologist interprets by virtual imaging. No Paps or autopsies.
